This week we will be learning about the origins of the Cold War and how the Cold War was fought. As always completing the daily assignments will help you to complete the Weekly Castle Learning assignment. The assignment will open on Castle Learning on Wednesday, and close by Midnight on Friday May 8th.
Monday May 4th:
Watch the following guided notes/video to learn what the term "Cold War" means, and how the U.S. and the Soviet Union fought such a war. You will have an aim question at the start of the PowerPoint, and it is repeated on the last slide again. Listen to the narration first, and than navigate through at your own pace to answer the aim in your notebook.

The next 2 days will focus on how Germany was divided after WWII and the plans to rebuild in a post Hitler world. We will also further explore the beginning of Cold War Tensions bet ween the U.S. and the Soviet Union.
